Sierra Cup Classic a Success for Band & Color Guard
November 9, 2009

The Beyer Marching Band and Color Guard had a great weekend at Fresno State University. Competing in the annual Sierra Cup Classic, the group had their best performance of the year, earning a fourth consecutive sweepstakes trophy, as well as awards for best visual, general effect, and music. The color guard placed third and the percussion was second out of the 24 bands in A/AA/AAA. Congratulations to the students and staff for their hard work, and thank you to the parent volunteers who continually make each weekend a well-supported and organized success! This Saturday, November 14, the group will compete in Trabuco Hills after performing at Disneyland on Friday.
