Decal Blitzes

The Beyer Band Decal Blitz refers to the football defense scheme when multiple defenders rush the quarterback at one time. For the band program, we rush the community requesting donations for our program as well as showing the community our school spirit. For their donations, community members receive our custom-made Beyer Band & Guard Decals!

Students meet at the band room and make groups of 4-7 friends. They are transported by parents to specified locations in the Beyer High attendance area. Special attention is given to student safety. As a group, students will go door to door asking for donations, giving our an adhesive decal to each donor. In the past, we've raisded as much as $2,500 in one night!

If you are available to drive for one of our decal blitzes, please contact us to sign up! The dates for 2010-2011 will be announced soon.

Sponsor Letters

Students in the program are given sponsor letters each year to send to friends, family, and local businesses. These donations help them pay their program costs, and many students have been able to pay for their entire season using this letter. Look for the 2010-11 letter in the handbook, and extra copies will be available in the band office.
